The Oswego Knights of Columbus Council #7247 works closely with St. Anne Parish in Oswego, IL, with many of its members being active participants in the parish. The Council also provides funds for various local organizations that it believes meet the mission of the Knights of Columbus.
Council Meetings
The Council’s Business Meetings are held monthly on the first and third Thursdays. The meetings start at 7:30 PM CST and are held in the Columbus Club.

Knights of Columbus donations to benefit Haiti earthquake victims has climbed to more than $500,000, including nearly $100,000 from 34 state councils, and more than $150,000 from 512 local councils.

White House Health Care Proposal Retains Abortion Funding
The health care reform proposal released by the White House this week maintains the language in the Senate bill allowing abortion funding. The White House proposal is designed to make changes to the Senate bill, and the omission of any reference to abortion in the proposal means that the Senate language on abortion remains intact.
