Council Activities
Business meetings are held twice a month, the 1st and 3rd Thursday, at 7:30 pm. Our council hosts a large number of council activities throughout the year.
Church
Council members and their families service St. Anne Parish as Readers, Eucharistic Ministers Ushers, Lectors, Hospitality Sunday, Welcoming/Newcomers, Deacons, Priest and many other organizations within our parish. Other activities include Living Rosary, Fourth Degree Honor Guards for the Bishop at Parish Confirmations within the Diocese of Rockford and Joliet, wakes & funerals for deceased Fourth Degree Knights and other special events.
Community
Annual Christmas Toy Drive, Flag Retirement, Light up for Christ, four Blood Drives per year, Sponsorship: Scout Troop #7247, Venture Crew #7247, Cub Pack 384, Sugar & Spice girls softball team; Pony League boys baseball team, Young Life Prison Ministry, Indian Guides, Umpire training and Oswego High School football team dinners at Brier Hall, Fourth Degree participation in parades with the float “Santa Maria”

MRLD “Tootsie Roll Drive, Misercordia Candy Drive, Pork Chop Sandwich Sales, Birth Rite and Pro Life Breakfast at the Joachim Center, Newman Fund Dinner, Chili Cook Off, Wheel Chair Foundation Dinner and Show, Fall Pork Chop Dinner, Annual Scholarship Golf Outing, Four Poker Tournaments, The Mission Breakfast - Children’s Christmas Party, Annual Flea Market.
Family
PJ Party, Council Picnic, Council Christmas Party, First Friday Fun Night, State Bowling Event, Recitation of the Rosary at four meeting per year, Family Mass, Thursday breakfast club, Marquette Assembly #0188 annual Admirals Ball and Christmas Party.
Charity
Financial support is provided for several organizations: Misercordia Mercy Home, Kendall County, Special Education, Catholic Charities, St. Peter School, Pregnancy Information Center, Birthright of Joliet, Special Camps Program for handicap children & adults, Passionates Fathers India Mission, The Gabriel Program, Sacred Heart Fathers, Provena Fox Knoll Retirement Home, Dominican Sisters of Mother of the Eucharistic, Matt Draper & Leon McNair Scholarship Funds, Newman Centers, State Council Disaster Fund, Scout Troop #7247, Venture Crew #7247, Cub Pack 384, Sugar and Spice girls softball team, Pony League boys baseball team and numerous other local organizations and needs identified with the State & Supreme Councils.
